Notes:

  • MI Elian Herrera was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on July 13th.
  • 2B Kolten Wong is a minor-league protectable prospect for the Cardinals. Today was the deadline for minor-league protections.
  • RP Juan Carlos Oviedo’s path back to the majors took a major detour, as he is now undergoing Tommy John surgery at Triple-A New Orleans since being activated from the Restricted List.
  • The only other minor league prospect added to WBRL rosters was D’Backs OF A.J. Pollock, added by X-Men for a $4 bid.
